When was clear creek high school built

A new grade and high school building was built at 13th and Colorado Boulevard and was occupied by students. Originally, classes were separated by grades in four rooms on the first floor. The Class of is the first graduating class to have completed six years in the new high school.

There are 26 graduates, several of which were serving in the United States Armed Forces. The basketball team wins second place in the Mountain Valley Tournament and then loses both games in the District play-offs. The basketball team wins the Mountain Valley League title. It advances to semi-finals of Class C playoffs only to lose to Fleming.

Margaret Carlson is named the Principal of the grammar school. The high school resumes eleven-man football. The first kindergarten class was established.
